Field Maintenance Schedule -
For information about the maintenance schedule, please contact our
Maintenance Coordinator

Each person is assigned two weeks they are responsible for the field
Please try to mow on Thursday night, Friday night, or early on Saturday
(Please watch the weather forecast and plan accordingly)
One of your two weeks will only require mowing the runway and pitts with the tractor
The other week should include tractor mowing as well as trimming around the fences and tables with the weed eater

Fill the tractor with gas from one of the two metal cans on the right side of the barn
If the cans are both getting empty let me know so I can get them filled
Press the brake/clutch on the left side and turn the key to start the tractor
The shift selector in the center console will put you in forward hi, forward low, or reverse
There is a selector on the left fender that will allow additional speed control
(4th gear might be a good gear to start with for mowing depending on the height of the grass, and your individual comfort level.)
For mowing the throttle (on the left dash) should be around 3/4
Don't forget to use the long lever on the right of the tractor to lower the deck
Turn the blades on with the PTO (power take off) switch on the right side of the dash

Fill the weed eater with gas from the smaller can marked as weed eater gas (let me know when it is getting low)
To start the weed eater pull the choke out and flip the switch on the handle on
Pull the cord several times until it pops the first time
Push the choke in and pull the cord again until it starts

Guest Flyers are welcome to fly at the club's flying field but MUST be sponsored by a current club member.  The guest flyer MUST have membership with AMA for insurance purposes.  The sponsoring member MUST act as a spotter for the guest anytime they are flying.  (This means that the sponsoring member DOES NOT fly while the guest is flying).

Add your name to our e-mailing list:
If you have not received e-mail from the club, it is probably because we do not have your e-mail address.  If you would like to be added to our e-mail list, please send an email to the webmaster, stating same.  Please include your name and affiliation.  We will not bomb-bard you with junk-mail.  We only send group e-mails with information that we feel the club needs to know quickly and should not wait until the newsletter comes out or the next club meeting to be disseminated.
